Siamo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our client's team in the UK's waste management industry. As a key member of the commercial team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and development.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the company's commercial contracts, ensuring optimal performance and revenue growth.
- Source and manage clients and contractors to meet the company's requirements, fostering strong relationships and driving business expansion.
- Oversee all aspects of the company's waste recycling contracts, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Lead the development of new business opportunities, identifying and capitalizing on growth prospects.
- Manage and mentor the commercial assistant, providing guidance and support to implement commercial strategies.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in a commercial-led environment, with a track record of driving business growth and change.
- Previous experience in the waste management industry is advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong operational and managerial skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
**What We Offer**
- A competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
- A flexible working schedule, with core hours from 08:00 - 17:00.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days' holiday, pension, and employee benefits scheme.
