Role Overview:

Are you a creative professional with a zeal for marketing and communications? As a Communications and Marketing Coordinator at 8Bits, you will assist in the execution of our marketing initiatives, oversee our social media channels, and contribute to various communication projects aimed at enhancing our brand presence and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the formulation and execution of marketing and communication plans.
  • Generate and curate content for diverse platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press announcements.
  • Oversee social media profiles, including scheduling content, interacting with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Track and assess marketing data to gauge the success of campaigns and propose enhancements.
  • Assist in the organization and promotion of events, ensuring effective outreach to target demographics.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to maintain consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
  • Help create marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s website, ensuring content is current and engaging.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Prior experience in marketing or communications roles is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and a solid understanding of social media analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A genuine interest in the entertainment sector and effective communication.
