Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Practice Operations Manager to become a vital part of our team at Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC. This role will involve overseeing two thriving medical practices, ensuring their efficient and sustainable operation while fostering a culture of mentorship and professional growth among staff.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring the seamless and effective management of both practices, focusing on staff development and mentoring within a newly structured management framework.
  • Collaborating closely with Reception and Administrative Supervisors, as well as Clinical Leads, to enhance operational workflows.
  • Maintaining strong relationships across both sites, which are located a short distance apart, to support and unify the teams.
  • Participating in monthly management meetings with peers to share insights and foster a supportive network.
  • Contributing to the overall vision and values of Hope Citadel, demonstrating these principles in daily operations.

Personnel Development

The role includes:

  • Training and guiding Reception and Administrative Supervisors in their respective roles.
  • Ensuring appropriate oversight of clinical teams in collaboration with clinical leads.
  • Managing administrative staff effectively, including leading performance appraisals and supporting recruitment and training efforts.
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, transparency, and safety.

Financial Oversight

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the practice budget in conjunction with the Finance Director.
  • Overseeing all expenditures and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and managing petty cash in accordance with established protocols.

Service Delivery Management

Key tasks involve:

  • Understanding and managing the practices' contractual obligations.
  • Overseeing appointment scheduling to meet contractual requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with Key Performance Indicators and Quality Outcomes Framework.

Health and Safety Compliance

The Lead Practice Operations Manager will:

  • Implement health and safety policies and ensure adherence to infection control standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
