About the Role

This is an exciting strategic leadership opportunity to join The London Foundation for Banking & Finance as a Director of Financial Capability and Strategy. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to broaden the use of our financial capability educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Financial Capability Strategies: Create and implement strategies to promote and broaden the use of our Financial Capability learning materials, aligning with our charitable objectives and generating income to fund our activities.
  • Business Model Development: Develop a business model for the financial capability content, ensuring its sustainability and growth.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Develop a suite of metrics to measure the success of our financial capability initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and industry experts.
  • Operational Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage operational risks across various services, including IT, facilities management, project management, and HR.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to drive the charity's strategy forward.

Requirements:

  • Senior Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a similar senior role, preferably at Director level, with a track record of successfully developing and implementing strategies.
  • Learning Materials Development: Proven experience in developing learning materials, with a focus on financial capability and education.
  • Learning Management Systems and CRM: Experience in implementing and operating Learning Management systems and CRM systems.
  • Operational Management: Experience in overseeing day-to-day operations, including managing relationships with third-party providers.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively manage projects.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
