Everlast Gyms is a dynamic and ambitious fitness company seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a General Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven and customer-focused General Manager to lead our Halifax gym. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the gym, including sales, marketing, and customer service. You will also be responsible for leading a team of fitness professionals, developing and implementing business strategies, and ensuring the gym meets its financial and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of fitness professionals
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences through effective customer service and retention strategies
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including sales, customer data, and financial performance
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement company-wide initiatives and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the fitness industry
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and implement business strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
