We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Housing Compliance team as a Maintenance Engineer. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage a team to ensure that all key performance indicators are met, particularly those reported to the Regulator of Social Housing.
  • Ensure that the Council's housing stock is fully compliant with all gas safety requirements and repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Compliance Manager to develop and implement effective strategies for maintaining and improving housing stock.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including residents, colleagues, and external partners.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
