This role will involve monitoring regulatory and legal developments and changes affecting the housing sector, and developing and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulation.

You will work closely with responsible managers to ensure that the organization is able to implement new requirements and maintain continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on regulatory compliance and governance matters
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulation
  • Monitoring regulatory and legal developments and changes affecting the housing sector
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize and prioritize own work and coordinate with other colleagues
  • Experience in a regulatory or compliance role within the housing sector or a related field
  • A strong understanding and working knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures required within the social housing sector in England
  • Experience of compliance practices, regulatory changes and revising policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure regulatory and legal compliance

The salary for this role is £32,000-£33,000 per annum, and the role is predominantly remote working. A full job description is available upon request.
