HR Consultant

Flexible working hours - hybrid model

Join a dynamic and supportive HR team where you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers throughout the organization. This role is diverse and fast-paced, encompassing HR initiatives alongside everyday HR functions such as talent acquisition, professional development, employee recognition, workforce planning, health and safety, and advising managers on personnel matters.

As an HR Consultant, you will have experience in various HR functions and be comfortable engaging with staff at all levels. Your keen attention to detail and collaborative spirit will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to employees and managers across the organization with a range of HR inquiries, including benefits, HRIS systems, training and development, and company policies.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, including candidate administration, conducting interviews, and verifying candidates' eligibility to work.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions and support managers in the onboarding of new employees.
  • Collaborate with the HR Assistant to ensure that contracts and terms of employment are issued, returned, and stored in compliance with privacy regulations, while keeping the HRIS updated.
  • Contribute to policy reviews and updates to maintain compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate health and safety initiatives, working with the HR Assistant to schedule annual risk assessments and liaise with external training providers.
  • Assist the HR Manager with employee relations matters as they arise.
  • Advise managers on issues related to performance management, absenteeism, and workforce planning.
  • Engage in departmental projects and take a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Generate and analyze reports such as absence and leave records, providing insights and guidance to managers.

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) qualifications.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to establish strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
