A valid UK Manual Driving Licence is required for this position.

This role involves planning, designing, and executing ramp services in accordance with Swissport's established policies and procedures. You will ensure the effective operation and coordination of all handling units during service delivery, while fostering positive relationships with clients and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities include conducting water quality assessments and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are associated with this position:

  • Deliver handling services as per agreements with client airlines.
  • Uphold safety standards and maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Ensure compliance with quality targets and facilitate quality assessments.
  • Recognize business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach and quality consciousness.
  • Implement the Ramp Service budget rigorously.
  • Maintain a reporting system for the Operations Manager.
  • Report any irregularities to management.
  • Conduct water quality tests and manage related documentation.
  • Assist cleaning teams within aircraft as operationally required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three GCSEs / O Levels or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality.
  • Capable of managing conflict effectively.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to travel to the airport when public transport is unavailable.
  • Competent in following processes and procedures with adaptability when necessary.
  • Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a manual environment.
  • Team-oriented in a fast-paced setting.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
  • Previous experience in an aviation setting is preferred.
