NHS Scotland is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse with clinical research experience to join the Respiratory Research team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will provide senior support to the team, helping to deliver several exciting clinical research projects enhancing the clinical care of patients with respiratory disease.

The post holder will be responsible for identifying, screening, and recruiting participants, as well as assisting with their care while they are taking part in the research.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with a passion for research to develop their skills and contribute to the advancement of respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior support to the Respiratory Research team
  • Help deliver clinical research projects enhancing respiratory care
  • Identify, screen, and recruit research participants
  • Assist with the care of research participants
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Clinical research experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
