The Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our Phase I Leadership team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Nurse with substantial clinical and research expertise to contribute to our Phase I initiatives, adhering to the standards set by the MHRA Phase I Accreditation Scheme.
The successful candidate will oversee Phase I clinical trials and address the educational requirements of nursing and clinical teams throughout the Edinburgh CRF. A robust background in clinical research, including the management and execution of Phase I trials, experience in teaching and mentorship, as well as proficiency in people and resource management within a clinical research context, is essential. Additionally, a comprehensive understanding of Research Governance and regulatory inspections, particularly concerning MHRA Phase I Accreditation, is required.
The Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility is renowned for its excellence in clinical research on both national and international levels. It operates from state-of-the-art adult and pediatric clinical facilities across multiple hospital sites, playing a crucial role in supporting the clinical science infrastructure for NHS Lothian and the University of Edinburgh. The post holder will be expected to travel between clinical sites as service demands require.
