Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic clinical research nurse to join our Respiratory Research team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will provide senior support to the team, assisting with the delivery of several exciting clinical research projects that enhance the clinical care of patients with respiratory disease.

The ideal candidate will have clinical research experience and a strong understanding of respiratory care. Training will be provided for the right candidate. The post holder will be responsible for identifying, screening, and recruiting participants for research studies, as well as assisting with the care of research participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior support to the Respiratory Research team
  • Assist with the delivery of clinical research projects
  • Identify, screen, and recruit participants for research studies
  • Assist with the care of research participants
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Clinical research experience
  • Strong understanding of respiratory care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
