Senior Research Nurse - Respiratory

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Nurse to join our Respiratory Research team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a key member of the team, you will provide senior support and guidance to our research nurses, ensuring the successful delivery of clinical research projects enhancing the care of patients with respiratory disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior support and guidance to research nurses in the delivery of clinical research projects
  • Identify, screen, and recruit participants for research studies
  • Assist with the care of research participants during study participation
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement research protocols
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and research governance policies

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC
  • Experience in clinical research, preferably in respiratory medicine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
