The Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Research Nurse within the Phase I/Education team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Research Nurse with substantial clinical and research expertise to join our Phase I/Education team and conduct clinical research in accordance with MHRA Phase I Accreditation Scheme standards.
The successful candidate will oversee Phase I clinical trials and will be responsible for addressing the educational needs of nursing and clinical teams throughout the Edinburgh CRF. Candidates should possess a robust background in clinical research, including experience in conducting and managing Phase I trials, as well as a proven track record in teaching and mentorship, along with effective people and resource management skills within a clinical research setting. A comprehensive understanding of Research Governance and regulatory inspections, particularly regarding MHRA Phase I Accreditation, is essential.
The Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility is renowned for its excellence in clinical research on both national and international levels. It operates within state-of-the-art adult and pediatric clinical facilities across multiple hospital sites and plays a crucial role in supporting the clinical science infrastructure for NHS Lothian and the University of Edinburgh. As such, the post holder will be expected to travel between clinical sites as required by service demands.
