Job Title: Senior Procurement Practitioner


Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Practitioner to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing contracts, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that our procurement processes are aligned with our business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage contracts for products and/or services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals, while ensuring that our business needs are met.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement processes are integrated with other business functions.
  • Provide procurement expertise and guidance to colleagues, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of contracts and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in SAP and other procurement systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
