Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of goods and services efficiently.

  • Negotiate and establish formal supply agreements, ensuring compliance for a specified range of products and services.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a safe, ethical, and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Conduct spend analysis to identify potential risks and savings opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications Required

Essential:

  • Professional procurement qualification Level 4 CIPS (or a commitment to pursue it).
  • Experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamics 365).
