PAC Buyer and Retail Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Retail Merchandiser and PAC Buyer to join our team at Wheelbase Lakeland Limited, a leading premium cycle retailer in the UK.
As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring the performance of Parts, Accessories, and Clothing (PAC) from our industry-leading cycling brands.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement range plans to ensure optimal product placement and stock levels across our stores and website.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate best cost prices, manage stock distribution, and ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate product range plans to our Visual Merchandiser, Retail, Stock, and eCommerce teams.
- Work closely with the Finance Director to forecast profits, sales, and plan budgets to control stock levels.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to maximize profits.
- Monitor competitor performance and stay up-to-date with industry trends to inform merchandising decisions.
- Proven experience in merchandising and/or retail/business management.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand what will appeal to customers.
