Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Merchandiser and PAC Buyer to join our team at our head office in the Lake District. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring the performance of our Parts, Accessories, and Clothing (PAC) products from leading cycling brands.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement range plans to maximize sales and profitability.
  2. Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate best prices, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high-quality products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate product range plans and ensure seamless execution.
  4. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform buying decisions and optimize product offerings.
  5. Work closely with the finance team to forecast profits and plan budgets to control stock levels.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities to improve sales and profitability.
  7. Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in merchandising and/or retail/business management.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand customer needs and preferences.
