Job Title: Approved Premises Residential Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Approved Premises Residential Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and supervision to residents in our Approved Premises, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and supervision to residents in our Approved Premises, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to the risk management plans of residents, observing and reporting any significant changes relating to risk and/or re-offending.
  • Ensure that the Approved Premises is locked and secure during curfew periods, confirming the presence and wellbeing of all residents overnight.
  • Facilitate the function of the Approved Premises as a first/emergency point of contact out of hours.
  • Support, create and maintain a safe working environment for staff, residents and visitors by adhering to Health and Safety legislation, ensuring Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Risk Assessments are followed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English and Maths), or equivalent qualification, or relevant work experience with the ability to evidence high level numeracy and literacy skills.
  • IT Skills: Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency of work practices and positive working environment.
