Job Summary:

The Senior Process Engineer - Continuous Improvement role is a key position within the Imperial Recruitment Group, responsible for driving technical, operational, and process safety excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to operations teams to ensure high competence and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with the site technical team and projects team to ensure manufacturing input throughout development activities and projects.
  • Lead thorough safety assessments of plant modifications to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Own and drive environmental performance and compliance, investigating and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide professional mentoring and technical guidance to the plant Process Engineer to develop future talent.
  • Lead and influence a positive values-based culture that drives high performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in the Upper Tier COMAH manufacturing sector.
  • Manufacturing operational experience, including manufacturing improvement and delivery of measurable business benefits.
  • Proven ability to think through problems, undertake analysis, and take effective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing improvement strategies and approaches.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to mobilize and inspire technical contributors.
  • Well-developed IT skills, including Excel, PI / FIS, MiniTab, and the ability to create tools within these packages.
