Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Kerry. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the engineering department, ensuring the implementation of Kerry's EHS and FSQ policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering department in the development and implementation of site engineering activities, including capital planning, capital project identification, process optimization, energy management, and maintenance delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and regional engineering statutory and/or compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program, ensuring timely and budget execution.
- Support the engineering team in applying technical skills and ingenuity to correct issues, modify processes, and implement new product requirements.
- Manage the site engineering budget, ensuring alignment with approved targets.
- Identify and assess the criticality of plant, equipment, and systems, and implement a spare parts holding policy.
- Monitor and control predefined KPI targets.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification/degree in Process manufacturing engineering or related process-based engineering.
- Significant experience in a large-scale process industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and employee engagement skills.
- Ability to apply engineering principles in practical application.
- Proven team leadership and development.
- Strong business knowledge and ability to interface with manufacturing organization.
- Food industry knowledge (desirable).
- SAP knowledge (desirable).
