Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer at EDF, you will lead and manage the full lifecycle of multi-week work across Work Management and Outage, working in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders. Your scope will support the delivery of safety-related plant outages and outage island project delivery to meet the requirements of Hartlepool's Generation and Defueling targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure the required resource to meet project requirements, ensuring all involved are SQEP.
- Develop and conduct effective execution strategies to help achieve overall project objectives.
- Ensure effective project change control is implemented when significant changes to scope, schedule, or cost are identified.
- Maximise learning opportunities, making full use of OpEx.
- Keep stakeholders informed and updated with performance, issues, and risks throughout.
- Ensure effective risk and issue mitigation.
- Lead and coach your project team to maximise efficient and effective delivery.
Requirements
- You will have experience with Project Engineering or Project Management within an engineering or complex environment.
- A HNC or equivalent in an Engineering or relevant discipline is required.
- A relevant certification, such as APMQ, is advantageous.
