Position Overview

GPH Recruitment Ltd is seeking dedicated professionals for the role of Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker. This position is integral to our mission of providing exceptional care to young individuals facing various challenges.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will:

  • Offer guidance and support to young people, addressing their practical, emotional, and physical needs.
  • Serve as a positive role model, assisting them in overcoming personal challenges and reaching their full potential.
  • Collaborate closely with the deputy manager to oversee daily operations and take charge in their absence.
Work Schedule

This role requires a commitment to a rolling rota of 173 hours per month, following a 2 on 4 off shift pattern, which includes sleep-ins and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and young people or young adults with complex needs in a residential environment.
  • A Diploma in Children's Residential Care or be actively pursuing this qualification.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
