We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Esland Care. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and care to our young people.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to our young people. You will work closely with our team to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to our young people, including daily living skills, education, and socialization.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by maintaining a clean and organized living space, adhering to health and safety protocols, and reporting any incidents or concerns.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in residential childcare.
  • Support our young people in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting independence and self-confidence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
  • A full driving license issued in the UK.
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • Values aligned with Esland Care's, including a therapeutic and person-centered approach to childcare.
  • Aged 21 or above.
