Physiotherapist Functional Assessor

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid role that offers a better work-life balance and the chance to utilize your medical skills.
About the RoleAs a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully to each person's medical history, perform a physical examination, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine their eligibility for benefits.
The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video, and you will be sensitive, compassionate, and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to determine how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
- Draw on your clinical expertise to produce concise, accurate reports for the DWP.
- Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video, and be sensitive, compassionate, and able to ask the right questions.
- Uphold best practice standards in all aspects of the role.
