Job Summary:As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and determining how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to conduct thorough assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews. Your reports will be used by the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities or conditions
- Draw on clinical expertise to determine how disabilities or conditions affect work life
- Produce concise, accurate reports for the DWP
- Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video
- Qualified Physiotherapist with a strong clinical background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) present on CV
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software
