The Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will assess individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a physical examination.

You will then produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet people face-to-face and via telephone/video
  • Produce accurate reports for the DWP
  • Use your clinical expertise to assess individuals
Requirements
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • IT skills and experience of using a range of software
  • Self-aware and focused on professional development
  • Motivated to contribute to quality customer service
