Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Role

We're offering a unique opportunity for Physiotherapists to join our team as Functional Assessors, working regular hours and enjoying true hybrid working.

The Role

As a Functional Assessor, you'll be responsible for evaluating individuals and how their disabilities or conditions impact their work life. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you'll conduct thorough assessments, taking into account each person's medical history and performing physical examinations. Your findings will be used to produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP), helping them make informed decisions about benefit eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals, taking into account their medical history and performing physical examinations
  • Produce accurate and concise reports for the DWP
  • Work independently, with support from a wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video, demonstrating sensitivity and compassion
