About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Data Management Hub in central Liverpool as a Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing department that is integral to BDO's long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and implementation of research and data projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of all data improvement and research activities.
  • Embed a continuous improvement culture through effective monitoring and root cause analysis of errors and omissions.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and ensure the team adheres to policies and regulation.
  • Handle internal queries and build relationships with colleagues and teams across BDO UK.
  • Lead training and development of the teams and colleagues to ensure we are 'Helping all succeed'.
  • Support in the collection and analysis of data from multiple sources.
  • Set clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, offering training and growth opportunities.
  • Be flexible and responsive to changing circumstances and priorities.
Requirements
  • Some people and team management experience.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to get involved in ad hoc activities with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to use your initiative and take a flexible approach.
  • Familiarity with business applications such as CMS, Workday, MDM, Templafy.
