Position

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Data Scientist to join our team, where you will:

  1. Apply AI techniques and Machine Learning to solve complex business problems in diverse domains, such as environmental decision-making and patient safety.
  2. Conduct exploratory analysis and modeling to identify opportunities for using data to deliver new insights and capabilities for our clients.
  3. Develop and present compelling data stories backed by powerful visualizations.
  4. Contribute to a collaborative and progressive data community focused on the safe and ethical application of new technologies.
  5. Provide subject matter mentorship and steering within the InformedENGINEERING team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  1. A passion for achieving transformational outcomes for our clients through data science in a collaborative environment.
  2. A track record of delivering successful outcomes through data science.
  3. A strong commercial data science background, with experience building and operating models in real business contexts.
  4. Deep expertise in a modern data language (e.g., Python, R, Julia).
  5. An excellent understanding of statistical methods and modeling.
  6. Competency in leading open-source ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  7. Experience integrating structured and non-structured data from various sources.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines in a fast-paced and agile environment.
  9. Excellent work planning capabilities and time management skills.
  10. Ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities.
  11. A meticulous attention to detail.
  12. Punctuality, reliability, and a clear commitment to your role.
