About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Cleaning Supervisor to oversee an onsite cleaning crew in a high-traffic distribution facility.

Job Purpose
To lead a team of multi-service operatives, ensuring that service delivery standards and specifications are achieved while remaining within budget, thereby facilitating successful 'green' audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of cleaning and waste management tasks, adhering to established schedules and standards.

• Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients to meet their expectations while operating within defined specifications.

• Assist the Site Manager in conducting thorough audits punctually, addressing any identified issues within set timeframes.

• Accurately complete and submit all necessary documentation in a timely manner, providing sign-off for completed tasks as required.

• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of cleaning supplies and equipment, utilizing them safely.

• Oversee the completion of periodic cleaning tasks according to required specifications and timelines, ensuring client sign-off.

• Conduct Decontamination Cleans as requested by the client.

• Support the execution of schedules as needed.

• Ensure all staff are equipped with the correct uniforms and present themselves in a manner that reflects the TC brand.

• Ensure shift handover logs are accurately completed and transferred at the end of each shift.

• Confirm the attendance of all scheduled staff members.

• Conduct Return to Work interviews with team members.

• Manage initial HR and employee relations matters in line with company HR policies, consulting with HR representatives as necessary, while recognizing and valuing diversity.

• Assist in the recruitment process for multi-service staff, ensuring compliance with TC recruitment standards.

• Support the Site Manager in ensuring timely and accurate payment of staff by adhering to company time and payroll processing protocols.

• Train and onboard all staff regarding their roles, expected standards, TC values, and company policies and procedures.

• Ensure all staff are trained in and comply with Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.

• Adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures.

• Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the company.

Additional Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the Health, Safety, and Welfare of oneself and others, complying with Health and Safety Regulations at all times.

• Report all Health & Safety incidents or concerns promptly and accurately.

• Maintain confidentiality at all times, only disclosing confidential information to authorized personnel.

• Comply with the Data Protection Act requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Prior experience in team management.
