About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Facility Team Leader to oversee an onsite cleaning crew in a high-traffic distribution center.

Job Purpose
To manage a team of multi-service operatives, ensuring that service delivery standards and specifications are met while adhering to budget constraints, thus achieving 'green' audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure on-site cleaning and waste management duties are performed according to schedules and specifications, guaranteeing timely service.

• Foster and maintain relationships with clients to meet their expectations while adhering to defined service specifications.

• Assist the Site Manager in conducting comprehensive audits punctually and accurately, implementing any necessary corrective actions within specified timeframes.

• Accurately complete and process all required documentation in a timely manner, providing necessary approvals for completed tasks.

• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of all cleaning materials and equipment, using them safely.

• Guarantee that all periodic cleaning tasks are executed to the required standards and timelines, with customer sign-off.

• Perform Decontamination Cleans as requested by the client.

• Support the execution of schedules as needed.

• Ensure all team members are in appropriate uniform, reflecting the TC brand.

• Complete shift handover documentation at the end of each shift.

• Confirm attendance of all scheduled staff.

• Conduct Return to Work interviews with team members.

• Address initial HR and employee relations matters in line with company HR policies, consulting with HR representatives while recognizing and valuing diversity.

• Assist in the recruitment process for multi-service colleagues, ensuring compliance with TC recruitment standards.

• Support the Site Manager in ensuring timely and accurate staff payment by following all company time and payroll procedures.

• Train and onboard all staff regarding their roles, expected standards, TC values, and company policies and procedures.

• Ensure all staff are trained in and comply with Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.

• Adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures.

• Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the company.

Other Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the Health, Safety, and Welfare of oneself and others, complying with Health and Safety Regulations at all times.

• Report all Health & Safety incidents or concerns accurately and promptly.

• Maintain confidentiality at all times, only disclosing confidential information to authorized personnel.

• Comply with the Data Protection Act requirements.

• Follow the company's equal opportunities policies.

Role Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous experience in team management.

• Solid understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH legislation.

• Flexibility with working hours as needed.
