General Sales Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Sales Manager to join our team at Group 1 Automotive. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing sales executives, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and targets.
  2. Lead and motivate sales executives to deliver exceptional results and meet sales targets.
  3. Provide coaching and training to sales executives to enhance their sales skills and knowledge.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and sales processes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales leadership and management experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire sales teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of sales processes and procedures.
