MSK Physiotherapy Team Lead and Clinical Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Physiotherapist to join our South Powys Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy team as a Team Lead and Clinical Specialist.
Main Responsibilities- Line management of the South Powys MSK Physiotherapy team, including managing ESR, expenses, appraisals, and performance management of staff.
- Liaising with the Head of Physiotherapy, service improvement manager, and admin team lead to support waiting list management.
- Working as an autonomous practitioner managing a MSK caseload, including more complex cases as required.
- Collaborating with other professions, including GPs, Consultants, Nurses, and other AHPs, to provide expert patient-centred musculoskeletal care.
- Providing training, education, supervision, and appraisal for staff and students.
- Contributing to the development of professional practice and the transformation and evaluation of service delivery.
- Supporting the research and innovation agenda through participating in research and development activity.
- Leading aspects of service evaluation with an emphasis on value-based care and audit.
- Working in partnership with service users and staff to achieve improved health outcomes for service users and develop clinical pathways.

Requirements- BSc Hons or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration.
- Relevant postgraduate training at Masters Level or equivalent.
- Extensive postgraduate experience with significant experience at a Senior level.
- Experience of taking responsibility and managing complex caseloads.
- Experience of clinical supervision of junior staff and students.
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of clinical governance and its application.
- Documented evidence of CPD.
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Appropriate Clinical Educator Course.
- Experience of audit procedures.
- Leadership and first-line management experience.
- Supervision of junior staff and students.
- Experience of a range of health settings.
