About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Team Lead and Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the MSK Physiotherapy team, providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff and students.
  • Manage a complex caseload, including more complex MSK cases as required.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, Consultants, Nurses, and other AHPs, to provide expert patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement clinical pathways and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of professional practice and the transformation and evaluation of service delivery.
  • Support the research and innovation agenda through participating in research and development activity.
  • Lead aspects of service evaluation with an emphasis on value-based care and audit.
Requirements
  • BSc Hons/equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Relevant postgraduate training at Masters Level or equivalent.
  • Extensive postgraduate experience with significant experience at a Senior level.
  • Experience of taking responsibility and managing complex caseloads.
  • Experience of clinical supervision of junior staff and students.
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Detailed knowledge of the principles of clinical governance and its application.
  • Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Appropriate Clinical Educator Course.
  • Leadership and first-line management experience.
  • Supervision of junior staff and students.
  • Experience of a range of health settings.
