Clinical Lead for Advanced Communication Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech & Language Therapist to lead the development of advanced communication solutions in Powys Teaching Health Board.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and delivering expert advice on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) services for adults and children with complex communication needs.
This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various settings to provide training, guidance, and support on effective AAC practices.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and skills in AAC, ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
- Coordinate AAC services, promoting best practices, and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an equitable and excellent service, improving patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in AAC, clinical leadership, and providing supervision and mentorship.
