About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Contechs Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the detailed design and engineering of powertrain components and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop powertrain components and systems from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure components meet technical and package targets.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver detailed designs on time, within quality, cost, and weight targets.
  • Ensure seamless integration of powertrain components with the wider vehicle.
  • Support powertrain component and vehicle development activities, manufacture, and launch planning.
Requirements
  • CATIA V5/V6 2D/3D skills with GD&T application experience.
  • High level of technical knowledge and experience of powertrain component and system design, packaging, engine test, and production.
  • Educated to degree level in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • Passion for high-performance powertrain engineering.
  • Excellent feasibility assessment skills, including design for manufacture.
