About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Owen Daniels Consultancy. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our products, working closely with our engineering team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of new products, including concept development, design refinement, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet company standards and customer requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in product design and development, with a strong background in engineering and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Autodesk Inventor and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of production techniques, including welding, fabrication, and assembly.
