**Job Summary**

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrument Design Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our project, you will be responsible for designing and drafting instrument and control works for our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft instrument and control works in accordance with approved project schedules, standards, and allocated man-hours.
  • Work closely with project Instrument Design Engineers to ensure all drafting works are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Take site surveys and gather data to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams as required.

Requirements:

  • Education to HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline or chartered engineering status.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD and MS products, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good level of industrial experience working in P&ID, Loop drawings, ISOs drafting.
  • Currently SC security cleared.
  • Experience working on the Sellafield Site.
  • Understanding of Fibre Optic systems.
  • Communications experience.
  • Knowledge of 4G and CIMAGE.
