Senior Instrument Designer Opportunity

Wood Digital Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Instrument Designer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and drafting instrument and control works for our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and draft instrument and control works in accordance with project schedules and standards.
  • Collaborate with project Instrument Design Engineers to ensure all drafting works are completed on time and within allocated man-hours.
  • Work with minimal direct supervision and have experience of taking site surveys.
  • Ensure all drafting works are completed in accordance with approved project standards.
Requirements:
  • Education to HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline or chartered engineering and member of an appropriate institute.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD and MS products; Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good level of industrial experience working in P&ID, Loop drawings, ISOs drafting.
  • Currently SC security cleared.
  • Experience on the Sellafield Site.
  • Experience of localised guaranteed non-interruptible supplies.
  • Understanding of Fibre Optic systems.
  • Communications experience.
  • 4G knowledge.
  • Knowledge of CIMAGE.
