Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Owen Daniels Consultancy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Recruit and train junior engineers to ensure the team is equipped to meet project demands.
  2. Organize and lead design review meetings to ensure projects are on track and meet customer requirements.
  3. Manage engineering changes and workloads to ensure efficient project delivery.
  4. Manage customer briefs, visit customer sites, and take measurements and details as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Produce concept models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor for customer approval and quotations.
  2. Create full manufacturing drawings from Autodesk Inventor models.
  3. Model parts, sub-assemblies, and projects in Autodesk Inventor.
  4. Have knowledge of production techniques available, including welding and fabrication, and bolted assembly techniques.
