We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging individual to head up the day-to-day operations of our Clerkenwell Design Centre. As Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all visitors receive a professional and welcoming experience while promoting the centre and its activities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the showroom's appearance, including its organisation, cleanliness, and updating showroom displays.
- Establish strong relationships with decision-makers, including architects, designers, project consultants, distributors, developers, builders, and carpenters.
- Develop new business leads by visiting key architectural offices to specify products in their projects.
- Organise and participate in local fairs and events to promote the brand.
- Schedule customer meetings, lead workshops, presentations, and staff trainings.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a retail or showroom environment, including managing day-to-day operations, handling inventory, and understanding sales processes. You must be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus, marketing know-how, and an understanding of how visual merchandising helps promote products effectively and creates an attractive showroom layout.
Requirements- A degree in interior design, architecture, marketing, or public relations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Flexible with a hands-on approach, comfortable using initiative in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bilingual in German, Spanish, or French would be advantageous.
