Shaw Contract Showroom Manager

Position Overview

As a Shaw Contract Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging showroom environment that showcases our high-quality products and provides an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with the sales team to drive sales wins, maintain a facility that reinforces dealer education, and facilitate stronger brand alignment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and engage all showroom guests, creating a positive and brand-consistent customer experience.
  2. Represent the company in a manner that ensures a customer experience consistent with the Shaw brand values.
  3. Maintain the showroom to the highest standard, ensuring all displays and facilities are of the highest quality.
  4. Collaborate with marketing to design special events and execute them to ensure brand experience consistency.
  5. Provide assistance with customer visits, presenting products to scheduled visitors when the sales team is unavailable.
  6. Maintain the showroom calendar and effectively facilitate schedules, notifying the sales team of major events and installations.
  7. Seek new ideas to make the space more functional for the needs of the sales region.
  8. Assist in new product launches and maintain the overall appearance of the showroom, including management of cleaning services, flower/plant services, and building services.
  9. Interact with leasing companies and other vendors to facilitate necessary showroom duties.
  10. Provide the sales team with weekly reports on showroom activity and send monthly reports to Marketing.
  11. Schedule caterers, set up, and clean up per sales team requests and individual customer needs.
  12. Aid in facility setup and cleanup for training activities.
  13. Assist with sales meetings, trainings, division meetings, product launch events, and other showroom meetings as requested by the RVP and/or Marketing.
  14. Present products to walk-in visitors and provide requested literature and information.
  15. Maintain an adequate supply of literature and finish samples in the facility, keeping all sales tools and materials current, complete, and available for immediate use.
  16. Maintain and order all office supplies, equipment supplies, and café supplies.
  17. Effectively manage facility invoices and drive showroom cost efficiencies.
  18. Develop relationships and maintain contact with vendors.
  19. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages.
  20. Develop a relationship with the sales team as an integral team member.
  21. Be knowledgeable of distribution and sales coverage in the market.
  22. Provide product and service information to dealers, the A&D community, and end-users in person and by phone.
  23. Arrange packing and shipment of samples.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in providing an exceptional in-person customer service experience for a premium brand or relevant showroom experience.
  2. Organization skills, accuracy, and great attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Project management, showroom management, facilities management, front desk hospitality, or interior design experience.
  2. Understanding of industry language, manufacturer/dealer structure, the role of A&D in the selling process.
  3. College degree.
  4. Previous showroom sales experience preferred.
