About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Potens, a national provider of health, social, and education services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mental health conditions to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals to develop their living skills, such as cooking, maintaining their living space, and managing their finances.
  • Help individuals to remain well by utilizing and developing coping skills, and accessing community activities and higher education or employment opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive support and care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Enthusiasm and interest in working within the mental health sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality support and care.
