About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Lancashire Independent Living Service. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with physical disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with accessing community facilities and services
  • Accompany clients to and from appointments and activities
  • Assist with general household tasks and domestic support
  • Provide personal care and support as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • A driver's license is preferred but not essential
