About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Northrop Grumman UK as a Deputy Programme Manager, supporting the delivery of Defence projects. As a key member of the Project Delivery Team, you will work closely with the Programme Manager to oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project relationships with partners, suppliers, and beneficiaries, ensuring delivery objectives are met through effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Support the Business Development function in pursuing and capturing new opportunities, from initial engagement to contract award.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to drive team performance, competence, and talent, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • Relevant engineering or technical degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with a strong track record of delivering Defence projects.
  • Proven team leadership skills, with a strong aptitude for managing and developing people.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
Security Clearance

You must be able to gain and maintain the UK-Security Check (SC) clearance. Our recruitment team will guide you through the process.
