Job Title: Hydraulic Modelling/Hydrology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modelling/Hydrology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling services to our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in hydraulic modelling and hydrology, with experience in using industry-standard software such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing hydraulic models to assess flood risk and inform decision-making
  • Conducting hydrological analysis and developing hydrological assessments using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH statistical methods
  • Communicating complex technical information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality projects and meet client needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in hydraulic modelling and hydrology, with a strong technical background
  • Experience in using industry-standard software such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of flood risk management principles and practices
