About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller/Hydrology Consultant to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our consulting team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in the water/environment sector and work on a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hydraulic models for flood risk assessments and flood modelling studies
  • Conduct hydrological analysis and develop hydrological assessments using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH statistical methods
  • Communicate complex modelling outputs to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Work independently and as part of a distributed team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
Requirements
  • Minimum degree(s) in Geography, Environmental Management, or Engineering
  • Good technical background with 4 years or more of UK-based industry experience
  • Significant experience in flood modelling packages such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas to clients and stakeholders
