We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flood Modelling Consultant to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd. Our company has been a leading provider of flood risk and water sector services for over 10 years, with a team of 20 engineers working remotely across the UK.

As a Senior Flood Modelling Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking hydrological analysis for model inputs using WINFAP/ReFH or other methods, developing hydraulic models from survey and check, and reviewing third-party models for suitability.

You will also be responsible for translating complex modelling outputs into easily accessible and understandable information to support our clients' desired outcomes, such as planning and flood alleviation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Project management and business development
  • Responsibility for projects from concept through to completion
  • Undertaking hydrological analysis for model inputs
  • Developing hydraulic models
  • Reviewing third-party models
  • Translating complex modelling outputs
