Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Age UK. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an excellent service and that our store is running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the store's sales and customer service teams to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the store's operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Manage the store's budget and ensure that expenses are controlled.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales and customer service staff.
  • Monitor and report on store performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
